Past and present perspectives on freedom meet on the trail. ๐๏ธ๐โ๏ธ
We are excited to announce a partnership between Run Her Way and the Liberation Trail for our 2026 edition (14โ21 June). While we commemorate the liberation of Europe across a 250 km journey, Run Her Way takes action on freedom of movement todayโworking to make running environments safer and more inclusive for women and girls.
This work is urgent: studies show that 92% of women globally worry about their safety when they go for a run.
A Platform for Impact: this collaboration is a perfect example of how the Liberation Trail serves as a platform for meaningful action. Run Her Way founder Kate Tellier will take on the full trail with a dedicated team to fundraise and gather insights for safer running spaces.
An invitation to other organizations: Does your company, non-profit, or brand want to turn miles into meaning? Whether you want to launch a dedicated team for your own cause or support our mission as a commercial sponsorโfrom our Purple Heart to Victoria Cross packagesโthe trail is open to you.
Our impressive and extensive trackrecord in creating impactful sporting events includes:
- Co-founding the Rotterdam Running Crew, including over 75 social runs.
- Managing the project, tour leading, training, and website for the New York Marathon on behalf of Cliniclowns Belgium.
- Setting up the Airborne Freedom Trail.
- Organizing major events like the Market Garden Ultra Trail, the Dutch Championships 24-hour ultra (2023), and the World Team Championships Backyard Ultra Netherlands.
We know how to make effort on the trail lead to concrete results.
