Join the BUNKER RUN and explore the impressive dune area around IJmuiden, a hidden gem in the Netherlands. This rugged course takes you through unspoiled dune landscapes, past historic bunkers and winding sand trails that bring the past to life. The start and finish are located at IJmuiderslag, where the history of the Atlantic Wall can still be felt.

The Liberation Trail ‘On Tour’ takes you off the usual route this time but stays true to the spirit, athleticism, and historical experience that make the Liberation Trail so unique. Perfect for trail runners who want to combine nature and history in an adventurous challenge!

Try out HOKA trail shoes during the run and experience the comfort and grip they offer on challenging terrain. The test team from our shoe sponsor HOKA will be there to provide guidance and support. A shorter loop has been set up especially for test runners.
